Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Ipoh, Malaysia, is seeking a production operator to perform documented processes and earn certification for daily tasks. The role requires adherence to ESD and cleanroom procedures, a 5S mindset, and ongoing lean practices.

You will identify quality issues and support continual improvement initiatives within a safety-conscious environment. Minimum qualifications include SPM and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of glue volatilization and glue mixing environment requirements.
• Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc
• Communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge: Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Perform operation/process as per document and must be certified.
• Highlight quality issues to Line Leader or Supervisor.

• Achieve daily targets.
• Maintain 5S at all times.
• Practice Lean Manufacturing; perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

• Comply with ISO requirements, company rules and regulations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• To perform operation / process as per document and must be certified.
• Performing daily process or operation as per document.
• To be certified to perform process or operation.
• To highlight any quality issues regarding the product or operation to Line Leader or Supervisor.
• To follow any other related process such as ESD and Cleanroom procedure.
• Does not perform work with substandard tools or machines.
• To achieve daily target given to them.
• Maintain 5S all the time (to perform at the end of the shift).
• Practice Lean Manufacturing. Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
• Derive Continual Improvement.
• Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of tasks.
• Compliance with ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
