Job summary

Coherent Malaysia is seeking a motivated production operator to perform operation/process per documented standards and maintain 5S practices. You will be certified to handle processes, highlight quality issues to supervision, and follow ESD and cleanroom procedures in a lean manufacturing setting.

The role requires basic glue process knowledge, capability with simple tools for bonding, and good communication with MS Office familiarity. Local site responsibilities in Ipoh, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: SPM.
• Basic knowledge of glue volatilization and glue mixing environment.
• Ability to follow documents and procedures; good communication and basic computer skills.

• Performing daily process or operation as per document.
• To highlight any quality issues regarding the product or operation to Line Leader or Supervisor.
• To follow any other related process such as ESD and Cleanroom procedure.

• To be certified to perform process or operation.
• To highlight any quality issues regarding the product or operation to Line Leader or Supervisor.
• To follow any other related process such as ESD and Cleanroom procedure.
• Does not perform work with substandard tools or machines.
• To achieve daily target given to them.
• Maintain 5S all the time (to perform at the end of the shift).
• Practice Lean Manufacturing. Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
• Derive Continual Improvement.
• Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of tasks.
• Compliance with ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.

• Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc
