Job summary

Coherent Corp. Malaysia seeks an Operations Technician to perform documented processes and maintain certification. You will execute daily operations, ensure compliance with ESD and Cleanroom procedures, and avoid substandard tools. The role emphasizes 5S, Lean practices, and continual improvement within ISO guidelines.

The position requires basic glue process knowledge and communication skills, along with familiarity with Microsoft Office for reporting and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Minimum: SPM
• Basic knowledge of glue volatilization and glue mixing environment requirements or familiar with either coupling or welding or soldering equipment
• Communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge: Microsoft Office

• To perform operation / process as per document and must be certified.
• Performing daily process or operation as per document.
• To be certified to perform process or operation.
• To highlight any quality issues regarding the product or operation to Line Leader or Supervisor.
• To follow any other related process such as ESD and Cleanroom procedure.
• Does not perform work with substandard tools or machines.
• To achieve daily target given to them.
• Maintain 5S all the time (to perform at the end of the shift).
• Practice Lean Manufacturing. Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
• Derive Continual Improvement.
• Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of tasks.
• Compliance with ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
