Job summary

Sinergia Talents is seeking a dedicated EHS professional in Penang to lead HIRARC activities, monitor risk controls, and implement corporate EHS programs. The role includes safety training, incident investigation, and driving a positive safety culture within a manufacturing site.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in OSH, 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, and familiarity with ISO 45001 and Malaysian regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree in OSH or related field and relevant local regulation knowledge.
Green Book SHO preferred or active pursuit during employment.
3–5 years of manufacturing OSH experience and risk assessment expertise.
Familiarity with ISO 45001 and local statutory requirements is a plus.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead HIRARC risk assessments and review updates when processes change.
Monitor safety performance and ensure timely closure of actions from audits.
Coordinate EHS programs and ensure regional standards are deployed.
Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and risk-awareness training.
Lead EHS projects (LOTO, fire, ergonomics, machine, chemical safety) and track progress.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EQA, Fire Services Act, and Malaysian regulations.
Investigate incidents and near-misses; implement corrective actions.
Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and KPI-ready documentation.
Support other duties and company events as required.
