Job summary

Sinergia Talents is seeking a dedicated EHS professional in Penang to lead HIRARC activities, monitor risk controls, and implement corporate EHS programs. The role includes safety training, incident investigation, and driving a positive safety culture within a manufacturing site.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in OSH, 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, and familiarity with ISO 45001 and Malaysian regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in OSH or related field and relevant local regulation knowledge.
• Green Book SHO preferred or active pursuit during employment.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing OSH experience and risk assessment expertise.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 and local statutory requirements is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead HIRARC risk assessments and review updates when processes change.
• Monitor safety performance and ensure timely closure of actions from audits.
• Coordinate EHS programs and ensure regional standards are deployed.
• Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and risk-awareness training.
• Lead EHS projects (LOTO, fire, ergonomics, machine, chemical safety) and track progress.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EQA, Fire Services Act, and Malaysian regulations.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; implement corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and KPI-ready documentation.
• Support other duties and company events as required.
