Job summary

Royal Selangor in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Manufacturing Executive to oversee production and ensure output targets are met with cost control. You will coordinate with supervisors and planning teams to deliver quality pewter pieces on time in a safe environment.

The role includes facilitating smooth transitions of new products from NPD to production and driving continuous improvements in planning, scheduling, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably 2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Work with supervisors to meet production output targets efficiently, while keeping the cost at bay with no variances
• Work closely with the planning team to ensure production meets deadlines (High delivery on time DOT %)
• Enforce a safe and conducive working environment with various departments (e.g. Planning, Supply Chain, Engineering Services, Safety, and other manufacturing sections)
• Assist in problem-solving on the production floor
• Ensuring a smooth transition of new products from NPD to production
• Continuous improvement of planning, scheduling and operations
