Job summary

Gateway Search Pte Ltd is seeking an MES Engineer to support manufacturing systems at our Malaysia factory. You will work with business and technical teams to ensure stability, optimize workflows, and assist with new system implementations.

The role requires strong SQL, C#, Axure skills, and Mandarin proficiency to collaborate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders; a degree in CS/IT and relevant experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field; diploma with strong relevant experience considered.
• Min 3 years in operation/maintenance of large-scale manufacturing systems.
• Proficient in SQL (CRUD) and basic database design.
• Familiar with C# programming and software development.
• Experience with system configuration, setup and deployment.
• Familiar with Axure for system design tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Mandarin proficiency required for Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot production-related systems to ensure stability.
• Gather requirements from business teams and manage the full system lifecycle.
• Prepare operation manuals and train key users.
• Support new production processes including design, network planning, and deployment.
• Perform system health checks, data archiving, and plan for new sites.
• Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support for daily operations.
