The company specializes in precision optical systems, optical instrumentation, and non-contact 3D optical metrology/profiling solutions.
Dual Focus: Hybrid role combining Manufacturing Engineering (process review, line optimization) and Supplier Quality Engineering.
Provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support for mechanical assembly of precision optical inspection equipment.
Improve assembly processes, work methods, fixturing, and production flow to enhance quality, efficiency, and repeatability.
Develop and maintain work instructions, assembly procedures, and process documentation.
Support production ramp-up, engineering changes, and sustaining manufacturing activities.
Troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues through root cause analysis (RCA) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Apply quality tools such as PFMEA, control plans, and risk-based process controls to improve process stability.
Support MRB activities and disposition of manufacturing nonconformances.
Support supplier quality issues, including containment, investigation, RCA, and corrective actions for incoming or in-process defects.
Work closely with Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, and Quality teams across Taiwan and the US to resolve technical and quality issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, or related discipline.
3-8 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a hybrid role in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, preferably involving precision or complex equipment.
Strong experience in root cause analysis, problem solving, and corrective actions.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Comfortable working in a global, cross-functional environment.
Able to use AI tools to improve productivity and work quality, while critically evaluating AI-generated outputs.
