Job summary

Lam Research International Sdn. Bhd. in Batu Kawan, Malaysia, seeks a Manufacturing Director to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations, driving SQDCP excellence and scalable capacity for a growing product portfolio.

You will own capacity realization, oversee large teams, and collaborate across Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver customer commitments with robust governance and continuous improvement culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline; Master's degree (MBA or Engineering) preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, including leadership of large-scale production organizations in a high-tech, semiconductor, electronics, or complex industrial environment.
• Proven track record of leading organizations with significant operational scope, including responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations to achieve world-class performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity (SQDCP) objectives.
• Own factory output and capacity realization, ensuring expanded capacity translates into sustainable shipments and results.
• Drive operational excellence through robust management systems, visual performance management, standard work, and continuous improvement.
• Provide leadership for a large manufacturing organization, including managers, supervisors, and direct labor teams, building a culture of accountability and inclusion.
• Develop organizational capability and leadership bench strength through talent development, succession planning, coaching, and workforce capability-building.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, NPI, and Business Units to ensure seamless execution of production plans and product transitions.
