Job summary

Lam Research Malaysia seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Director to lead ME Operations spanning assembly, test engineering, fixture design, and work instructions software engineering. You will drive operational excellence, develop leaders, and ensure quality while reducing costs across Wafer Fabrication Equipment projects.

You will collaborate across functions, manage change, and travel up to 25% to support Lam sites globally. Excellent English communication and leadership presence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing/operational leadership experience.
• Experience in cross-functional multinational environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive ME vision and strategy for operational excellence.
• Lead and develop a team of Engineering Managers and Engineers for assembly and test engineering.
• Oversee test engineering activities, including product testing, Python-based tests, failure analysis, and test cycle time optimization.
• Manage factory layout design, capacity planning, engineering change management, and NPI.
