Job summary

Aida Group Malaysia is seeking an analytical Accounts Officer (Costing & Inventory) to manage product costing, standard costs, variances and month-end close in our manufacturing setup. You will work with Production, Purchasing, Store, Engineering and MIS/IT to maintain accurate cost records, BOM reviews, inventory valuation and asset accounting.

A minimum of 3 years' experience in manufacturing costing is required.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
Manufacturing costing, BOM review, inventory valuation or cost variance analysis preferred.
Proficient in Excel and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Manufacturing Costing: prepare, maintain and update product costing, standard costing, variances and analyse costs.
Inventory and WIP Management: monitor inventory records, valuation, reconciliations and stock counts.
Fixed Asset Management: maintain asset register, depreciation, tagging and reconciliations.
General Accounting and Financial Closing: support monthly/quarterly/year-end closing, journal entries and schedules.
Cross-Departmental Coordination: collaborate with Production, PPC, Purchasing, Store, Engineering, MIS/IT on costing and inventory matters.
