Qualifications

• Recognized degree, ACCA graduate or other equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• At least 3-5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong management accounting knowledge and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month end / quarter end closing activities in inventory/manufacturing.
• Analyse variances (work order and absorption), identify drivers and propose corrective actions.
• Calculate and maintain product costs and validate BOM cost data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for cost optimization and process improvements.
• Partner with inventory team for accurate costing and discrepancy resolution.
• Support standard cost roll and cycle inventory counts.
• Interact with internal and external auditors.
• Prepare monthly management reporting of actuals vs forecast/AOP.
• Support AOP and forecast processes for Malaysia manufacturing plant.
