Job summary

AIDA MANUFACTURING (ASIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an Accounts Officer with hands-on experience in manufacturing costing and inventory accounting to join our team in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

The role focuses on product costing, standard cost and variance analysis, inventory reconciliation, WIP and Job Order monitoring, fixed assets and month-end closing. You will collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Store, Engineering and MIS/IT to ensure accurate costing, inventory records and financial reporting,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Practical experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Hands-on experience in costing, BOM review, inventory valuation and cost variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Costing: prepare and update product costing and standard costing.
• Inventory and WIP: monitor inventory records, reconcile ERP vs records, analyze variances.
• Fixed Asset Management: maintain asset register, depreciation and verification.
• General Accounting: support monthly/quarterly/year-end close, journal entries and schedules.
• Cross-Departmental Coordination: work with Production, PPC, Purchasing, Store, Engineering, MIS/IT.
• System Improvement: participate in ERP enhancements and process improvements.
