Job summary

Cost modeling engineer is part of Predictive Cost Modeling team, under Agilent One Procurement Organization. Primary functions are to develop cost models & simulate manufacturing should-cost and perform supply-market intelligence analytics, to provide value-add solutions in strategic cost management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing cost/engineering roles.
• Technical background in manufacturing processes and cost profiling for specified categories.

• Technical background/expertise in manufacturing process & technology and good understanding on the cost profile/structure in at least one or more of the categories/commodities: Machined components, Sheet metal, Plastic molding, Flow components, Optical parts, Laboratory Glassware and Consumables.
• Experience in CAD software.
• Effective MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Statistical, Data analytics and Digitalization skills are a plus.
