Job summary

Altus Engineering & Trading is seeking candidates for a hands-on role in jig, fixture and automation assembly. The position requires reading drawings, mechanical fitting, pneumatics and basic electrical wiring, with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:45 PM shifts; attractive benefits including panel clinic, bonus, and allowances.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• Hands-on jig & fixture or automation equipment assembly experience preferred; fresh graduates welcomed.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Know-how in mechanical fitting, pneumatics, and basic electrical wiring is a plus.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble jig & fixture components and automation systems according to drawings.
• Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and installation.
• Conduct functional testing and ensure assemblies meet quality standards.
• Assist engineers in troubleshooting and resolving assembly-related issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in proper condition.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for production and assembly processes.
