Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking technicians to assemble jig and fixture components and automation systems according to engineering drawings and specifications. Reading drawings and knowledge of mechanical fitting, pneumatics, and basic electrical wiring are assets.

Applicants with Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent are encouraged to apply; fresh graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in jig & fixture assembly or automation equipment assembly is preferred. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical fitting, pneumatics, and basic electrical wiring will be an added advantage.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble jig & fixture components and automation systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and installation of parts.
• Conduct functional testing and ensure all assemblies meet the required quality standards.
• Assist engineers in troubleshooting and resolving assembly-related issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in proper working condition.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for production and assembly processes.
