Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a Diploma/Certificate holder in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Mechatronics to join our fast-paced manufacturing team in Penang. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive hands-on experience in jig and fixture assembly and automation equipment.

You will read drawings, perform fitting, alignment and testing, troubleshoot with engineers, and help maintain tools and workstations. Competitive benefits include a Panel Clinic, bonus and allowances.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in jig & fixture assembly or automation equipment assembly is preferred. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of mechanical fitting, pneumatics, and basic electrical wiring will be an added advantage.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble jig & fixture components and automation systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and installation of parts.
• Conduct functional testing and ensure all assemblies meet the required quality standards.
• Assist engineers in troubleshooting and resolving assembly-related issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in proper working condition.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for production and assembly processes.
