Job summary

Tentacle Tech in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Manual & Automation Tester to ensure quality across mobile banking apps and internet banking portals. You will create and run test scenarios, develop automation scripts, and apply AI-powered testing tools to expand coverage.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of testing experience, with hands-on automation using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or Appium, plus API testing and Agile/Scrum familiarity. Banking domain experience is a plus.

We're seeking a Manual & Automation Tester to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of mobile banking apps and internet banking web portals. Key responsibilities

• Perform manual and automation testing for mobile banking apps and web-based internet banking portals
• Create and execute test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing
• Use AI-powered testing tools to generate test cases, identify scenarios, analyze failures, and improve test coverage
• Test banking functionalities such as login, authentication, fund transfers, payments, and account services
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, UI, and end-to-end testing

About you

• 3–5 years of experience in software testing, with strong manual and automation testing skills
• Experience testing mobile applications and web portals
• Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium
• Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, AI-based testing tools and techniques
• Good understanding of API testing, SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect management
• Banking or financial application testing experience is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
