Job summary

Hitachi eBworx is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to shape our test automation strategy and lead technical initiatives that ensure high-quality software releases. You will design frameworks, develop automated scripts, and integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines for faster delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of automation testing experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated testing solutions for software quality, reliability, and performance.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools for web and hybrid mobile apps (React Native / Angular).
• Create reusable, maintainable automation frameworks and test scripts covering functional, regression, API, UI, and E2E testing.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster delivery.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and test coverage.

What you'll do:
