Job summary

Talent Craft Consultancy is seeking a skilled Mandarin Translator to join our Administration & Office Support team in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. You will bridge language and cultural communication between English and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, ensuring accuracy in translated materials and correspondence.

You will translate documents, emails and communications, provide interpretation during meetings, and maintain translation records.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Malay and Mandarin (written and spoken) at a basic level.
• Strong written and verbal communication in both languages.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in translations.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
• Proficiency with translation software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Cultural awareness when engaging diverse stakeholders.
• Professional translation certification or qualification preferred.
• Experience in business/administrative/corporate translation environments advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Translate documents, emails and communications English↔Mandarin with accuracy and cultural sensitivity.
• Provide interpretation during meetings and client interactions with Mandarin speakers.
• Proofread and edit translations for quality and consistency.
• Maintain translation records and terminology databases for reference.
• Collaborate with team to clarify context and ensure precise terminology.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to international communications.
