The role involves consecutive interpretation during meetings, translating documents such as reports, manuals, SOPs and emails, and facilitating clear communication among local staff, expatriates, suppliers and customers.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

The Translator is responsible for providing accurate translation and interpretation services between Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia while supporting daily operations. The role includes assisting in facilitates effective communication between local employees, expatriates and external parties to support efficient business and production operations.

Key responsibilities

Provide accurate verbal interpretation between Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia during meetings, discussions, training sessions and daily operations

Translate documents including reports, manuals, work instructions, SOPs, policies, technical specifications, emails and correspondence

Assist communication between local employees, expatriates, suppliers, customers and government authorities

About you

Fluency in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia

Ability to perform accurate translations and interpretations

Strong documentation and record-keeping skills

Compliance with all Company policies, SOPs and laboratory procedures

Good teamwork and communication skills with all departments
