Job summary

Armstrong Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a dynamic engineer with Mandarin language skills and a background in mechanical manufacturing. The role focuses on quotation enquiries, prototype sample preparation, and developing mass-production workflows.

You will drive NPI, tooling coordination, and continuous improvement to reduce costs and boost quality. Proficiency in AutoCAD and drawing interpretation is essential, along with ISO experience and lean manufacturing knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).
• Experience in manufacturing industry and ISO knowledge preferred.
• Mandarin speaker required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to read drawings.
• Experience with NPI and prototype development.
• Familiarity with process optimization and lean manufacturing.
• 3–5 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle quotation enquiries: cost analysis and pricing calculations.
• Prepare prototype samples and support validation of new products.
• Design mass production workflows and improve processes.
• Develop automation, equipment, and inspection systems to boost productivity.
• Lead NPI and tooling coordination using DFM/ DFA/ DFMEA methods.
• Analyze defect data to identify root causes and resolve quality issues.
• Communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
