Job summary

Beyond Horizon Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support FP&A, ensure accurate financial reporting, and drive strategic business decisions in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of finance experience (external audit is a must), strong skills in SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks and Excel, and fluent Mandarin and English communication. You will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and governance as part of a growing team.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our financial planning and analysis processes, ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting and helping to drive strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and maintain daily financial records and accounting data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, compliance, and timely reporting.

Analyze financial performance, costs, budgets, and key business drivers, providing actionable recommendations on cost control and resource optimization based on the business stage, particularly during the incubation and growth phases.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management reports to support senior management in business and strategic decision-making.

Ensure financial processes and reporting comply with company governance requirements and external audit requirements.

Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and reconciliation, identify key financial risks and issues, and provide recommendations to support business decisions.

Support the establishment and improvement of financial processes and reporting frameworks for new businesses, from the initial incubation stage through business growth and scaling.

About you

Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

4–6 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, external audit experience is a must.

Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, internal controls, and financial planning.

Proficient in financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks, as well as Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a high level of attention to detail.

Strong Mandarin and English communication, execution, and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
