Agensi Pekerjaan Ami Awana Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a seasoned Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee all finance and accounting functions, including planning, budgeting, treasury, tax planning, forecasting, and controls.
You will lead monthly budgets, cash flow forecasts, consolidation, and financial reporting to senior management, ensuring compliance with statutory and corporate governance while liaising with auditors and regulators.
Finance & Accounting Manager responsible for managing all aspects of the Group's finance and accounting functions, including financial planning, budgeting, treasury management, tax planning, forecasting, and financial controls. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and overseeing the Group's statutory and management financial reporting to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Key responsibilities
Prepare, review, and oversee the Group's statutory and management financial reporting to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards, as well as adherence to the Group's policies and operating guidelines.
Manage all aspects of the Group's finance and accounting functions, including financial planning, budgeting, treasury management, tax planning, forecasting, and financial controls.
Lead the preparation of monthly budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial analyses, and present key financial insights and performance reports to Senior Management.
Oversee the consolidation of the Group's financial statements and ensure the integrity of consolidated financial reporting.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, regulatory authorities, financial institutions, and other relevant stakeholders on finance-related matters.
Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements, including taxation, audit, and financial reporting obligations.
Monitor and manage the Group's actual and projected cash flow position to ensure adequate liquidity and effective working capital management.
Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations on business initiatives, investments, and operational decisions to support the Group's financial objectives.
Perform and support in ad hoc financial related tasks and other assignments as required by Management from time to time.
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, ACCA, CPA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant working experience in finance, accounting, or audit, preferably with exposure to public accounting firms and/or corporate finance environments.
Strong financial analysis capabilities, with sound problem-solving and analytical skills.
Positive work attitude with a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and accountability.
Self-motivated, disciplined, and committed individual with a strong work ethic and dedication to achieving high-quality results.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese would be an added advantage and may be required to support business and operational needs.
