Job summary

Zuellig Pharma in Malaysia is seeking a Transport Cost Analyst to support cost analysis, monthly P&L reviews, and transport planning. You will work with the Transport team to weigh costs against budgets and help drive data-driven decisions.

The role requires strong Excel and Power BI skills, familiarity with SAP, and a keen eye for detail to validate transport expenses and identify efficiency opportunities across SHT, MDD, and CDC operations.

Qualifications

Purpose Of The Role

• To support the reporting manager in Transport cost analysis; monthly P&L review, weekly KPR, future state Transport planning & projects by allowing to weigh costs against their budget cost.
• To have strong attention to detail and support reporting manager; go-to person for cost analysis and to prepare reports to help Transport team make better decisions - well-versed in data and financial analysis
• This role is responsible for to support reporting manager in managing Transport process improvement, innovation, and cost analysis to support CDC & SHT operations business needs. This includes analysing systems' effectiveness, cost and benefit models, and performance. Also responsible for managing TMS support and new Transport project development, including internal assets and external vendors – future state own fleet operation.

What You'll Do

• Establish close working relationships with the Management Team and all Operational Business development or Section Heads in communication, development and follow up on transportation matters.
• Lead and deliver agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); develop corrective and preventive actions on any failures of deliveries.
• Analyse risks associated with different approaches of process changes in Transportation.
• Analyse the costs and benefits of the current Transport business processes within SHT, MDD & CDC operations.
• To assist reporting manager to validate all transport related expenses and find ways to make our operations more cost-efficient.
• Analyse the wider implications of analysis and research to draw inferences on Transportation operations.
• Gather and analyse Transport monthly financial data, determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costs.
• Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc for monthly and weekly KPR review - manage budgets, and monitor spending.
• Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculate effects on overall costs.
• Conduct market research to support future business state transport planning.
• Develop alternatives to enhance Transportation operational policies, standards, and procedures.
• Develop data management systems and databases for Transportation process improvements.
• Develop measures to improve Transportation vendor management capability in the organisation.
• Develop plans to implement innovative Transportation solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Must-Have

What Will Make You Successful:

• Knowledge of Transportation operations, with experience on Land , Air, Sea.
• Must be excellent in Excell / Power Bi and PowerPoint.
• Good and well verse in Data Analysis by using Excel and Power BI
• Knowledge on SAP, Power BI, Finance Analysis , data crunching .
