Job summary

TNG Digital Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned ESG reporting professional to lead Bursa listing readiness, disclosure, and governance initiatives. You will collaborate with Legal, Finance, IR, and external advisors to prepare IPO content and a roadmap for the first listed-company sustainability report.

The role requires 4–6 years in sustainability/ESG, proficiency in ISSB/IFRS S1/S2 and GRI, and strong data governance skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability or related field required.
• 4–6 years in sustainability or ESG reporting.
• Experience with Bursa disclosure requirements.
• Knowledge of global reporting frameworks (ISSB, GRI, TCFD).
• Experience with data collection, audits, and assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Bursa listing readiness and close gaps identified.
• Prepare sustainability content for IPO docs and investor materials.
• Build roadmap for first listed-company sustainability report with milestones.
• Lead annual sustainability statements per Bursa/ISSB/IFRS S1/S2.

What would you do?

IPO and listing readiness

• Lead the sustainability reporting readiness assessment against the requirements of Bursa Listing Requirements and applicable frameworks, and close the gaps identified.
• Prepare the sustainability content for IPO documentation and investor materials, working with Legal, Finance, Investor Relations, and external advisors.
• Build a roadmap for the first listed-company sustainability report, with milestones, owners, and resourcing.

Reporting and disclosure

• Lead the preparation of the annual sustainability statement or report in line with Bursa, ISSB (IFRS S1/S2), GRI, or other applicable frameworks.
• Run the materiality assessment, including stakeholder engagement, and keep it current.
• Set sustainability KPIs and targets, and track progress against them.

Data, controls and assurance

• Design the sustainability data collection process, including metric definitions, data owners, and internal controls, so reported data can withstand audit and assurance review.
• Run the GHG inventory (Scope 1, 2 and, where relevant, Scope 3) and other environmental and social metrics.
• Coordinate with Internal Audit and external assurance providers on sustainability data assurance.
• Develop and maintain the financial inclusion strategy, aligned with business strategy and with national financial inclusion or financial sector blueprint.
• Define the company's financial inclusion scope, such as underserved, unbanked, or underbanked individuals, micro and small merchants, rural or low-income users, and other priority segments.
• Set measurable financial inclusion KPIs and targets, for example users reached in target segments, first‑time access to formal financial services, merchant onboarding, financial literacy participation, and product accessibility. Final metrics should be agreed with Product, Data, and Finance.
• Organise financial literacy and digital literacy programmes, including partnerships with NGOs, government agencies, and community organisations.
• Measure and report the impact of inclusion initiatives, using defined methodologies so that claims can be supported if challenged.

Governance and stakeholder management

• Set up sustainability governance, including board and management committee reporting, policies, and escalation paths.
• Work with business units, Finance, Risk, HR, Technology, and Compliance to embed sustainability requirements into business processes.
• Respond to ESG ratings, investor questionnaires, and stakeholder enquiries once listed.
• Prepare board materials, investor presentations, and internal communications on strategic priorities.

Social and Governance Programme

• Assist to implement the company’s sustainability strategy, aligning with global ESG standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Oversee social sustainability programmes including diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI), supply chain sustainability, and community investment.

Who should join us?

• Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in sustainability or ESG reporting. Experience in a listed company or in preparing a company for listing.
• Hands‑on experience producing a sustainability report or statement under Bursa’s disclosure requirements.
• Working knowledge of reporting frameworks and standards such as ISSB (IFRS S1/S2), GRI, and TCFD.
• Experience with GHG accounting (GHG Protocol) and building sustainability data collection processes and controls.
• Experience working with auditors or assurance providers on sustainability data.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with senior leaders and Board‑level audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Detailed oriented. Passion for sustainability, ESG, and financial inclusion. Comfortable working in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments with a high level of ownership.
