The role involves coordinating with divisions, updating budget status, processing changes, and ensuring timely financial reporting to senior management and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related field from a recognised university.
• Minimum six years of relevant experience in construction/project management and reporting.
• PMP qualification is an added advantage.
• Able to collate information and organise material into manageable form.
• Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and coordinate with divisions to finalize the budget for RMK and Development Budget.
• Enter budget data into MyProjek System and monitor monthly financial status.
• Process Notice of Change for budget/cost variances from approvals.
• Coordinate cash flow and budget refinements across divisions.
• Monitor Development Budget utilization and escalate gaps to Management.
• Review and facilitate internal Budget Transfer approvals.
• Analyze project financial updates and report to Senior Manager.
• Prepare revised cash flow forecasts and budget utilization analysis.
• Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain relations with Federal/State agencies and stakeholders.
• Provide interventions to improve work processes.

POSITION : MANAGER, PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE (COST & BUDGET MANAGEMENT)

DIVISION : CORPORATE STRATEGY

LOCATION : PUTRAJAYA

Major Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and coordinate with other divisions to finalize the budget requirement for the RMK budget application and subsequent annual Development Budget.
• Facilitate the key-in of budget application into MyProjek System and update the financial status on a monthly basis or "as and when" required by ICU, JPM.
• Facilitate the application of Notice of Change (NOC) for project whose scope and/or cost have varied from original approval particularly the budget and cost.
• Coordinate with various divisions on refinement of project scope and corresponding cash flow requirements based on the approved budget.
• Work closely with various divisions to monitor the utilization of Development Budget, identify gaps, provide intervention and update Senior Manager for escalation to Management.
• Review application of (internal) Budget Transfer by Project Teams and facilitate the approval process.
• Review project financial update submitted by Project Teams, analyze the utilization of Development Budget and provide update Senior Manager.
• Prepare and update revised cash flow and Development Budget utilization and provide analysis to Senior Manager.
• Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain good working relationship with the relevant Federal and State Government agencies/authorities and other related stakeholders.
• Provide intervention measures for improvement of work processes.

Position Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey/ Business Administration/ Accounting/ Economics/ Finance or other related fields from a recognised university.
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant working experiences in construction/project management and reporting roles of substantial similar core business areas as ECERDC.
• PMP qualification is an added advantage.
• Able to collate information and organise material into manageable form.
• Ability to do analysis and application of collected data/information to resolve problems is highly required.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, SAP, MS Project/Primavera applications is an added advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective sourcing of required information from various sources and required tactful dealings with relevant staff, management and other key stakeholders of ECERDC.
• Able to multitask and deliver results.
