Job summary

Hong Leong Bank is seeking an experienced leader to drive the AI and digitization initiatives within the Mortgage Credit Administration (MG CRA) department in Malaysia. You will own the strategic roadmap, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery of value from digital projects across the bank.

You will partner with internal and external stakeholders, manage vendor relationships, and implement governance, risk controls, and regulatory awareness to keep MG CRA ahead in the banking

Qualifications

• Lead AI and digitization projects within the MG CRA department.
• Establish project plans, schedules, budgets and governance controls.
• Provide expert guidance to Mortgage Center staff and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Collaboration & Planning with internal and external stakeholders to set long-range goals.
• Market & Regulatory Intelligence to inform strategy and product portfolios.
• Lead new initiatives, pilots and bank-wide rollouts for the department.
• Advisory & Vendor Negotiations to protect bank interests.
• Own AI & Digitalization roadmap and ensure deliverables align with strategy.
• Project Governance & Control with detailed plans, milestones and requirements.
• Risk Management & Compliance to enforce low risk impact and regulatory adherence.
• Vendor Deliverable Oversight to ensure quality and post-implementation metrics.
• Workflow Optimization & Standardization of mortgage credit processes.
• Policy & SOP Governance and updates in response to regulatory changes.
• Operational Handover & User Support with requirements documentation.
• Guidance & Management Reporting to inform portfolio monitoring.
