Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a proactive legal professional to join our client team on a 1-year contract (renewable) with potential conversion based on performance. You will work closely with management and stakeholders on a broad range of corporate legal matters.

The role offers exposure to diverse contracts, regulatory compliance, and practical legal advice, with remuneration up to RM 8,000 per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant legal experience, with in-house experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, prepare, and manage various contracts and legal agreements for the company.
• Ensure all contracts and legal documentation comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal requirements.
• Provide practical legal advice and support to management and relevant business functions on legal matters.
• Coordinate and liaise with external legal counsel and law firms in relation to litigation and other legal proceedings.
• Assist management with other legal-related projects and ad-hoc assignments as required.
