Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance/Commerce or related discipline.
  • 7–10 years’ experience in asset/portfolio management or investment evaluation.
  • Strong analytical and financial capability to assess asset performance and KPI data.
  • Ability to drive capex governance and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

To lead and manage the review, analysis, and oversight of DRH's asset portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, driving continuous performance improvement, and safeguarding long-term asset value in collaboration with Superiors and key stakeholders.

To oversee and support key asset management functions by providing in-depth analysis, data‑driven insights, performance evaluations, and assessments of capex initiatives and enhancement proposals, delivering clear recommendations to enable informed, high‑impact decision‑making by senior management.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead periodic analysis and monitoring of asset performance across DRH's portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational objectives, identifying gaps, and recommending improvement actions.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc asset performance reports to ensure accuracy, clarity, and timely submission for senior management and Board use.
  • Support the development, refinement, and tracking of functional initiatives within subsidiaries and OUs to improve operational effectiveness, value creation, and long‑term asset sustainability.
  • Drive asset enhancement and operational improvement initiatives, particularly those related to capex planning, execution, and value preservation.
  • Identify value creation opportunities across the portfolio and assess potential impact, risks, and implementation considerations.
  • Monitor new development and asset enhancement projects from a portfolio perspective, ensuring alignment with approved business cases, strategic intent, and budget parameters.
  • Participate in periodic project review meetings with development teams, consultants, contractors, and operators to review progress, timelines, risks, cost updates, and compliance with approved scope and quality.
  • Review project progress reports and consolidate key observations, risks, and implications for escalation to Senior Management and Board reporting.
  • Highlight issues that may affect timelines, scope, or budgets and recommend mitigation measures or escalation where required.
  • Track project budgets and expenditure trends at the portfolio level to support responsible financial management.
Corporate Strategy – Support and Coordination
  • Provide data‑driven insights, performance analysis, and inputs to support DRH’s strategic and operational planning processes.
  • Coordinate with departments, OUs, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistent execution of DRH’s strategic and operational objectives related to assets and projects.
  • Conduct and review industry and market research, benchmarking, and competitor analysis to support management decision‑making.
  • Monitor progress of strategic initiatives related to portfolio assets and projects to ensure delivery of expected outcomes.
Others
  • Work with relevant departments across DRH Group companies on annual budget inputs relating to asset performance, capex planning, and operational outcomes.
  • Prepare management papers, analyses, presentations, and reports for SMT and Board review.
  • Manage and guide direct reports, fostering a performance‑driven culture focused on ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
About you:
Educational Qualifications
  • Business, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Engineering, or related discipline qualification.
  • Post graduate qualifications or MBA would be an advantage.
Professional Experience
  • 7‑10 years working experience in asset management, portfolio management, investment evaluation, project monitoring, or related fields.
  • Experience in capex oversight, project financial evaluation, and development/project monitoring within property, infrastructure, hospitality, or investment‑related industries.
  • Strong analytical and financial capability – able to assess asset performance, interpret financial data and KPIs, and evaluate business cases and capex proposals with accuracy and sound judgment.
  • Execution‑focused with solid project discipline – demonstrates strong follow‑through in monitoring asset enhancement and capex initiatives, identifying risks, and ensuring timely and quality delivery of improvement actions.
  • Able to work collaboratively with subsidiaries, OUs, development teams, and internal stakeholders to drive alignment, resolve issues, and support portfolio value creation.
