Job summary

SJ Securities Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the accounting, finance and reporting functions. The role requires strong governance, accuracy and integrity in financial operations, with oversight of full set of accounts, financial reporting and analysis.

The candidate will drive budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management, coordinate audit and tax matters, and ensure compliance with statutory duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or degree in Accounting or professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW or MICPA.
• Preferably a Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants or other professional accountancy bodies.
• Minimum 8 years of accounting/audit/finance experience.
• At least 3-5 years in a managerial role.
• Full set of accounts and financial reporting and analysis.

Job description

Experience and criteria:

Minimum 8 years of accounting/audit/finance experience

At least 3-5 years in a managerial role

Full set of accounts

Financial reporting and analysis

Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Audit and Tax liaison and coordination with auditors and tax agents

Tax compliance eg. Corporate tax, SST/GST, Stamp Duty etc

Treasury is an added advantage

Strong knowledge of:

Corporate tax, withholding tax, SST/GST, Stamp Duty and statutory submissions

Internal controls and risk management

Knowledge of e-invoicing is an added advantage

Key responsibilities
