Job summary

PUSAKA Capital Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead our accounting, financial reporting and tax functions. The role requires a strong accounting background and the ability to oversee day-to-day operations.

You will manage a small team, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and collaborate with auditors and management. A Bachelor's in Accounting and membership in a recognized accounting body are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related professional qualification.
• Member of a recognized accounting body (e.g., MIA/CPA/ACCA).
• At least five years' experience in a similar role, with two years in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial, accounting and tax functions for the company.
• Lead and manage the accounting team and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with auditors and management to improve financial processes.

Job description

Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other relevant professional qualification from a recognized institution and a member of recognized Accounting professional body 1.e, MIA, CPA, ACCA, and etc.

Require at least five (5) years of working experience in similar capacity with two (2) years at supervisory/managerial level.

Responsible for the overall administration of financial, accounting and tax functions of the company.

Proactive and resourceful with excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
