At HEINEKEN Malaysia, we're looking for an experienced Manager – Distributor Services & Inventory Management to lead distributor service excellence and inventory performance across our nationwide distribution network.
This role is responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service, optimal inventory levels, and strong collaboration across Sales, Planning, Logistics, Warehouse and Finance. You'll play a key role in driving operational excellence, continuous improvement and leading a high-performing team.
What You'll Do
- Lead distributor service and inventory management to ensure excellent customer service and product availability.
- Develop replenishment strategies to optimise inventory, stock availability and working capital.
- Partner with Sales, Planning, Logistics, Warehouse and Finance to support demand, promotions and new product launches.
- Build strong distributor relationships and drive service excellence through regular performance reviews.
- Monitor and improve key KPIs including OTIF, Fill Rate, Distributor Stock Levels, Inventory Accuracy and Inventory Turnover.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, inventory productivity and customer experience.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team while fostering a collaborative and customer-centric culture.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory governance, operational controls and safety standards.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Commerce or a related discipline.
- 6–8 years of experience in customer service, distributor management, inventory management, logistics or supply chain operations, including 2–3 years in a people leadership role.
- Proven experience in inventory planning, replenishment, stock allocation and distributor service management.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, inventory optimisation, working capital and customer service KPIs.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across Sales, Planning, Logistics, Warehouse and Finance.
- Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, Power BI and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Professional certifications such as APICS/ASCM (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD) or Lean Six Sigma are an advantage.
