Job summary

Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Berhad is seeking a Manager, Certificate Admin (Core Project) to oversee certificate servicing, including Financial and Non-financial Alterations, Reinstatement, and Benefit Processing, with focus on accuracy and cycle time.

You will lead review and approval, drive process improvements such as RPA automation, prepare monthly management reports, and ensure billing deductions and ROC cases align with guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a related field.
• Experience in Life Insurance or Family Takaful operations.
• Ability to lead teams and manage process change projects.

Responsibilities

• Process Financial & Non-financial Alteration requests and approve per guidelines.
• Verify requests within service commitments and update management records.
• Analyze processes and drive improvements such as RPA automation.
• Prepare workaround plans for Day 2 system enhancements.
• Generate monthly and ad hoc reports for Management/Regulator.
• Verify billing files for contribution deductions and auto debits.
• Review deduction results to improve collection performance.
• Review and approve policy benefit requests per guidelines and ROC cases.

Job description

Manager, Certificate Admin (Core Project), Certificate Admin & Group Processing

Managing certificate servicing process especially for Financial Alteration section which involve Medical Repricing areas & system enhancement, Non-Financial Alteration, Replacement of Certificates, Reinstatement, Certificate Benefits Process, Payment & Collection process which involves auto deduction of CCSI, Auto Debit/Direct Debit & Angkasa Salary Deduction process and projects.

Key responsibilities

Processing of Financial & Non-financial Alteration - Review and approve financial and non-financial alteration request according to rules as stipulated by the set guidelines

Verify, approve and ensure that requests for Financial Alteration and Non-Financial Alteration are processed within specified guidelines and within or exceed the agreed service commitment benchmark

Analyze current process, plan and carry out process improvements projects i.e RPA automation

Review and prepare workaround process for areas that have impacted Day 2 system enhancement

Prepare monthly and ad hoc report as and when required by Management/Regulator

Verify and ensure to submit billing file for contribution deductions according to billing cycles for auto debits

Review and analyze deduction result to carry out improvements to increase the success rate and collection amount

Verify, approve and ensure that request for policy benefits processes is processed within specified guidelines and within or exceed the agreed service commitment benchmark

Verify and approve ROC related cases based on BNM guidelines

Undertake projects / other work and duties allocated by the supervisor/Management as and when required

About you

At least Bachelor's Degree or above

At least 4 years working experience in operational functions in either Life Insurance or Family Takaful

With supervisory experience of at least 3 years

Understand the application of Insurance/Takaful guidelines and regulatory standards

Familiar with process flow, system development methodology, system testing

Strategic and organizational agility, excellent execution track record, analytical, negotiation, communication, teamwork, leadership and influencing skills
