Job summary

PositiveLinks Asia seeks a senior Power Plant Technical Services lead in Malaysia to steer the technical function, set expert direction, and uphold safety and environmental standards for power plant operations.

The role demands a degree in engineering, 10+ years in technical services with aviation maintenance exposure, and strong vendor, HR, and regulatory stakeholder capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering from an internationally recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Technical Services experience.
• Aircraft maintenance engineering background is desirable.
• Good understanding of company procedures.
• Good understanding of Part-145 and Part-M requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Power Plant technical function and provide expert technical direction to the team.
• Act as the subject matter expert and technical focal point for Power Plant matters.
• Represent in engagements with national aviation authorities, senior leaders and vendors.
• Ensure the safety, airworthiness and in-service reliability of the assigned Power Plant function.
• Develop the future direction of the function based on evolving technical, regulatory and business requirements.
• Balance maintenance costs against operational reliability to support the airline's operational and commercial objectives.
• Manage vendors and ensure service level agreements and performance requirements are met.
• Manage direct reports and ensure appropriate performance, development and HR processes are maintained.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and provide a high level of service.
• Deputize for the Senior Manager, Technical Services when required.
