Job summary

SEN KEE FOOD TRADING SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a kitchen helper to support daily operations, food preparation, and customer service.

You will learn about the company background, operation, and participate in strategic planning, while ensuring SOP adherence. The role involves maintaining clean work and dining areas, collaborating with management and AEON, interviewing kitchen staff, monitoring sales and stock, handling halal records, and responding to customer feedback.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling food and customer service preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn the company's background, operation and participate in strategic planning.
• Ensure day-to-day operations and food preparation follow company SOP.
• Provide good quality services to customers.
• Keep kitchen and sitting area clean, safe and comfortable.
• Collaborate with management and AEON management.
• Maintain organized work area.
• Monitor staff productivity and performance.
• Record and update sales and stock analyses daily.
• Ensure raw materials quality before serving.
• Assist in interviewing kitchen helpers.
• Record halal matters (pest control & audit).
• Attend to customer complaints and feedback.
• Work according to shift, and perform ad-hoc tasks as required.
• Report weekly sales progress to meet targets.
• May be required to go outstation during rotations.

• Learning in depth knowledge regarding the company's background, operation & participate in strategic planning.
• To ensure day to day operations and food preparation are carried smoothly in according to company SOP.
• Responsible in providing a good quality services to the customers.
• Ensure kitchen and sitting area is conducive, safe and comfortable.
• Collaborate with the management and AEON management.
• Keeps work area clean and organize.
• Manage and monitor staff productivity and performance.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Make sure sales & stock analysis is tally every day.
• Ensure all raw materials in good quality upon serving to customer.
• Conduct interview for kitchen helper position.
• Recording and updating halal matters (pest control & audit).
• Attend to customer complaint and feedback to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work according to shift.
• Any ad-hoc tasks required by immediate superior or the Management.
• Report sales performances weekly with progress to achieve the target given.
• Able to go outstation during rotation.
