Job summary

SEN KEE FOOD TRADING SDN. BHD. is seeking a Management Trainee to learn the company’s background, operations and strategic planning while supporting day-to-day kitchen and service activities.

You will ensure quality service, maintain clean and safe dining areas, and collaborate with management to meet targets. Willingness to travel for rotations and to take on ad-hoc tasks is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or management trainee programs is preferred.
• Willingness to participate in strategic planning and company SOPs.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Learn in-depth about the company background, operations and strategic planning.
• Ensure day-to-day operations and food preparation adhere to SOPs.
• Provide high-quality customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable kitchen and dining area.
• Collaborate with management and Aeon counterparts where applicable.
• Manage and monitor staff productivity and performance.
• Record and monitor halal-related matters (pest control & audit).
• Report sales and stock analysis daily and help achieve targets.
• Attend to customer complaints and feedback promptly.
• Attend shifts and undertake ad-hoc tasks as required.

Job description

• -Learning in depth knowledge regarding the company’s background, operation & participate in strategic planning.
• -To ensure day to day operations and food preparation are carried smoothly in according to company SOP.
• -Responsible in providing a good quality services to the customers.
• -Ensure kitchen and sitting area is conducive, safe and comfortable.
• -Collaborate with the management and AEON management.
• -Keeps work area clean and organize.
• -Manage and monitor staff productivity and performance.
• -Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• -Make sure sales & stock analysis is tally every day.
• -Ensure all raw materials in good quality upon serving to customer.
• -Conduct interview for kitchen helper position.
• -Recording and updating halal matters (pest control & audit).
• -Attend to customer complaint and feedback to ensure customer satisfaction.
• -Work according to shift.
• -Any ad-hoc tasks required by immediate superior or the Management.
• -Report sales performances weekly with progress to achieve the target given.
• -Able to go outstation during rotation.
