Job summary

ASMPT is seeking a Management Accountant in Malaysia to drive financial performance through costing, budgeting, forecasting, and inventory control. You will partner with cross-functional teams to provide accurate insights, support strategic decisions, ensure cost integrity, and contribute to a global manufacturing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing costing and financial controlling.
• Knowledge of SAP in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform product costing and variance analysis to ensure accurate product costs and cost of sales reporting.
• Analyze manufacturing productivity, capacity utilization, and operational performance.
• Calculate and maintain transfer pricing with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Review and monitor inventory provisions and warranty provisions.
• Conduct monthly and annual stock take activities with the Logistics team.
• Prepare and analyze EBIT forecasts, operating costs, and business performance trends.
• Monitor SCM overheads, capital expenditures, and departmental budget utilization.
• Track and control non-conformance costs (NCC).
• Support intercompany product eliminations for group consolidation reporting.
• Coordinate annual budgeting exercises with business stakeholders.
• Support external and internal audits related to costing, inventory, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

Experience
