Jora Malaysia is seeking a senior finance professional to manage monthly financial reporting, cost control, and profitability analyses within a manufacturing context. You will oversee BOM costs, cost variances, and vendor reconciliations while ensuring compliance with SOPs and internal controls.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 5+ years’ experience (managerial preferred), and ACCA/CPA/CIMA advantages. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is essential.

Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports, including cost center analysis, variance reports, and manufacturing performance metrics, to support timely and informed operational decisions.
Monitor and analyze BOM cost, production costs, material usage variances, and overhead absorption to ensure accurate product costing, support pricing strategies, and assess profitability.
Monitor vendor aging reports, reconcile supplier statements, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate closely with procurement, warehouse, and vendors to resolve issues promptly. Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of accruals, AP reconciliations, inventory adjustments, and related journal entries.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency, cost transparency, and operational effectiveness within the manufacturing environment.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a managerial role.
Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English, Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
