Job summary

Advanced Assembly Materials – Pasir Gudang, Johor is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage full sets of accounts for distributors, draft financial statements, and review GST reports.

You will support decision-making with timely insights, develop financial controls for manufacturing operations, and coordinate with auditors and tax partners. Degree in accounting with at least 5 years in manufacturing is preferred; SAP and advanced Excel skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mature and analytical with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, detailed insights on business performance for stakeholders.
• Manage full sets of accounts for limited risk distributors and draft financial statements; review GST reports.
• Handle accounting, audit and tax issues including liaising with auditors and tax partners.
• Develop and enhance financial controls for manufacturing operations (e.g., inventory and scrap control).
• Undertake other related duties as assigned.

Support decision-making by providing stakeholders with timely, detailed, and meaningful insights and visibility on business performance.

Manage full sets of account books of limited risk distributors including drafting of financial statements, review GST reports.

Manage accounting, audit and tax related issues including dealing with auditors and tax partners.

Develop, implement and enhance financial control on operation of manufacturing plants (eg : control on inventory management, scrap, etc).

To undertake other related jobs from time to time directed by superior.

Education & Experience

Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification.

Candidate with at least 5 years working experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.

Advanced in Microsoft Excel and conversant with SAP is an added advantage.

Mature personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
