Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is assisting a premier shopping destination in Kuala Lumpur to recruit a Tenant Engagement & Retention professional. You will build strong tenant relationships, oversee lease compliance, and coordinate cross‑departmental marketing initiatives to boost footfall and sales.

The role focuses on onboarding new tenants, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to mall rules and standards. A 1–3 year background in retail property management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in tenant relations, retail property management, mall operations, or client relationship management within the shopping mall or real estate sector.
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, problem‑solving mindset, and a sound understanding of retail store operations and lease management.

Responsibilities

• Tenant Engagement & Retention: Build and maintain strong relationships with retail tenants, acting as the primary point of contact for operational queries and store support.
• Operational & Lease Compliance: Oversee tenant compliance with lease terms, mall operating rules, safety protocols, and store presentation standards.
• Sales Monitoring & Performance: Track tenant sales performance, foot traffic trends, and turnover metrics to identify growth opportunities and support retail health.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Promotion and Marketing teams to execute targeted campaigns, promotional events, and tenant-driven initiatives to boost footfall and sales.
• Onboarding & Fit-Out Support: Coordinate with new tenants during store handover, fit-out phases, and grand openings to ensure seamless integration into the mall ecosystem.
