This role requires travel to various shopping locations for meetings and site visits. Ideal candidates bring experience in mall leasing or sales negotiations, excellent communication, and a results-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, retail expansion, mall leasing, event space leasing or sales negotiation is an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Smart, quick-thinking and adaptable in varied situations.
• Ability to initiate contacts and build business relationships.
• Commercial awareness and results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with shopping malls across Malaysia.
• Contact mall management and leasing departments to explore available booth spaces.
• Negotiate rental rates, rental periods, booth locations and leasing terms.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with mall management and business partners.
• Proactively source new malls and suitable locations for retail expansion.
• Evaluate potential locations based on rental costs, customer traffic and business potential.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure new booth setups are completed on time.
• Handle challenges during negotiations and find practical solutions.
