Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a mall customer service assistant to act as the main information point for shoppers, tenants, and visitors in Petaling Jaya. You will greet guests, handle inquiries and complaints, and support in daily mall operations and event promotions.

The role requires a minimum SPM or Diploma, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work weekends and public holidays on a rotational shift. Prior experience in retail or hospitality is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service and assistance to shoppers, tenants, and visitors; act as main contact for inquiries, complaints, and mall information.
• Greet and assist shoppers courteously and professionally.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly.
• Assist in up keeping of the mall.
• Manage the mall's information counter and telephone hotline.
• Handle lost & found items and maintain proper records.
• Liaise with security, housekeeping, and maintenance teams when necessary.
• Assist in organizing mall events and promotional activities.
• Prepare daily reports on customer service interactions and issues.
• Assist in the sale and redemption of vouchers
• Perform other ad-hoc assignments as required by Management.
