Job summary

Bowtie Malaysia is scaling its content operation to support Malaysia's health insurance market. You will own the accuracy, compliance, and external credibility of the content library, using AI-assisted writing and rigorous fact-checking against Malaysian policy wordings and premium tables.

You’ll work with the SEO Manager to convert topics into compliant, high-quality articles, while building a knowledge base on product updates and regulatory nuances.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in medical insurance underwriting support, insurance product management, journalism, or agency content work in Malaysian BFSI/healthcare.
• Deep knowledge of Malaysian medical card structures — co-payments, deductibles, riders, and claims workflows.
• Editorial rigor with zero tolerance for inaccuracies.
• Experience using AI writing/drafting tools for accurate first drafts.
• Native or fluent written English; strong Bahasa Malaysia working proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own content creation, accuracy, compliance, and external credibility for Bowtie Malaysia's insurance and health content.
• Draft and produce insurance content — guides, comparison pages, FAQs — using AI, grounded in subject-matter expertise.
• Collaborate with SEO Manager on briefs and priorities to publish compliant articles.
• Fact-check and sign-off on every published article against real policy wordings and product terms.
• Ensure content meets BNM and MOH guidelines and takaful regulatory nuances.
• Drive link-building and digital PR through guest placements and media commentary.
• Maintain a living knowledge base of Malaysian insurer product updates and policy shifts.
• Oversee a high-volume AI-assisted publishing pipeline (100–150 articles/mo).
• Serve as the named expert author/reviewer on Bowtie's top articles to establish real E-E-A-T authority.
