Bowtie Malaysia is scaling a content operation for the Malaysian medical insurance market, seeking a domain authority to own the content library and ensure accuracy, compliance, and external credibility.

You will draft and fact-check articles, build knowledge base, and lead AI-assisted publishing for 100–150 articles per month, with live product terms and MOH/BNM compliance. You will work with SEO and media for high E-E-A-T authority.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in medical insurance underwriting support, insurance product management, insurance journalism, or agency content work focused on Malaysian BFSI/healthcare.
• Deep knowledge of Malaysian medical card structures — co-payments, deductibles, riders, and claims workflows.
• Exceptional editorial rigor with zero tolerance for factual inaccuracies.
• Comfortable using AI writing/drafting tools to produce accurate, well-structured first drafts quickly.
• Native or fluent English; strong working proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia.

Role Summary

Bowtie is scaling a content operation into the Malaysian medical insurance market — a category where a factual slip, an outdated product detail, or a non-compliant claim doesn't just look bad, it can tank search rankings and create real regulatory exposure. Someone has to write and safeguard that content with real subject-matter depth, and right now, nobody on the team has the depth of Malaysian insurance product knowledge to do either.

That's you. You'll be the domain authority behind Bowtie Malaysia's entire content library — using AI tools to help draft and scale accurate, compliant articles yourself, fact-checking everything that publishes (your own work and others') against real product terms, keeping our BNM and MOH compliance record spotless, and building the external credibility (bylines, media placements, backlinks) that turns a brand-new domain into a trusted one.

About the Role

You'll own content creation, accuracy, compliance, and external credibility-building for Bowtie Malaysia's insurance and health content — working alongside the SEO Manager, who owns strategy and volume, while you combine hands-on, AI-assisted writing with being the quality and trust layer.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI-Assisted Content Creation

• Draft and produce insurance content — product guides, comparison pages, FAQs — using AI tools, grounded in your own subject-matter expertise so it's accurate from the first draft, not just after review.

• Work with the SEO Manager on content briefs and priorities, turning target topics and keywords into published, compliant articles.

2. Content Accuracy & Compliance Gatekeeping

• Own fact-checking and sign-off on every published article — your own and others' — against real Malaysian policy wordings, premium tables, and live product terms.

• Screen content for BNM disclosure requirements, MOH guideline adherence, and Takaful-specific regulatory nuances before anything goes live.

3. Authority & Credibility Building

• Drive link-building and digital PR through guest placements and expert commentary in Malaysian finance and health media.

• Build and maintain a living knowledge base of Malaysian insurer product updates, premium changes, and policy shifts that keeps the content library current.

4. AI Content QA

• Own the quality framework governing an AI-assisted publishing pipeline producing 100–150 articles a month.

5. Subject-Matter Authorship

• Serve as the named expert author/reviewer credited on Bowtie's highest-traffic articles, establishing real E-E-A-T authority rather than an anonymous byline.

About you

Experience & Skills

• 3–5 years in medical insurance underwriting support, insurance product management, insurance journalism, or agency content work focused on Malaysian BFSI/healthcare.

• Deep knowledge of Malaysian medical card structures — co-payments, deductibles, riders, and claims workflows.

• Exceptional editorial rigor with zero tolerance for factual inaccuracies.

• Comfortable using AI writing/drafting tools to produce accurate, well-structured first drafts quickly — not just editing after the fact.

• Native or fluent written English; strong working proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia.

• A plus: experience with content QA frameworks for AI-assisted publishing, or existing relationships in Malaysian finance/health media for link-building and PR.

• You're a natural translator — you make dense product and policy detail both readable and precise at the same time.

Language

• English (fluent, written) required; Bahasa Malaysia (strong working proficiency) required.
