Job summary

Amazon AWS Malaysia is seeking an experienced Public Sector Account Manager to drive revenue and adoption across Malaysia's government, statutory boards, and GLICs. You will design territory plans, forecast accurately, and build long-term relationships with C-suite and ministerial leaders.

You will collaborate with ISV partners, consulting firms, system integrators, and Solutions Architects to extend reach and accelerate customer adoption of cloud and AI services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• 5+ years of exceeding quota and key performance metrics experience.
• Experience in Sales/Business Development or Account Management roles.
• Knowledge of presentations and whiteboarding with executives, IT management, and developers.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and market share in the Malaysia Public Sector territory by meeting or exceeding targets across federal government, state-owned enterprises and GLICs.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan, including accurate forecasting and a robust sales pipeline.
• Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services tailored to public sector needs, accelerating customer adoption by working backwards from customer challenges.
• Manage contract negotiations and public procurement processes while developing long-term strategic relationships at the C-suite and ministerial level.
• Work with ISV partners, consulting partners, system integrators, Solutions Architects, Professional Services, and cross-functional teams to extend reach and drive adoption.
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
• Create and implement sales mechanisms that increase performance within your territory.
