Job summary

AWS Malaysia is seeking an experienced public sector Account Manager to lead and grow the Public Sector business in Malaysia, engaging with federal government, state-owned enterprises, and GLICs to increase adoption of AWS cloud and AI solutions. You will develop territory plans, forecast accurately, and articulate compelling value propositions to executives and technical stakeholders.

The role requires the ability to navigate government procurement, manage negotiations, and collaborate with ISV

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• 5+ years quota-exceeding sales experience.
• Experience in Sales/Business Development or Account Management roles.
• Ability to present to executives, IT management, and developers.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and market share in the Malaysia Public Sector by meeting or exceeding targets across federal government, state-owned enterprises and GLICs.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan, including accurate forecasting and a robust sales pipeline.
• Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services tailored to public sector needs, accelerating customer adoption by working backwards from customer challenges.
• Manage contract negotiations and public procurement processes while developing long-term strategic relationships at the C-suite and ministerial level.
• Work with ISV partners, consulting partners, system integrators, Solutions Architects, Professional Services, and cross-functional teams to extend reach and drive adoption.
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
• Create and implement sales mechanisms that increase performance within your territory.
