This remote, hourly contractor role requires deep Malay grammar knowledge, near-native proficiency, and 3+ years in editing, translation QA, or content QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics or related field.
• Native or near-native Malay proficiency (reading and writing).
• Strong professional English proficiency (C1) for feedback in English.
• 3+ years in writing, editing, localization, translation, or content QA.
• Deep understanding of Malay grammar, spelling, punctuation and style.
• Ability to handle regional variation: Malaysia vs Indonesia vs Brunei.
• High attention to detail and ability to spot subtle meaning shifts.
• Reliable, self-directed, remote hourly contractor work.

Responsibilities
