SME Careers is seeking a Malay Language Specialist (remote hourly contractor) to review AI-generated Malay content and develop high-quality Malay references. You will evaluate accuracy, grammar, tone, and cultural suitability while providing precise feedback and rewrites to improve model outputs.

Ideal candidates have native Malay proficiency, strong English skills (C1), and 3+ years in writing, editing, or translation. This role offers flexible hours and remote collaboration.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in linguistics or related field.
• Native Malay reading and writing proficiency.
• High English proficiency (C1) to follow guidelines and provide feedback in English.
• 3+ years in writing, editing, localization, translation, QA, journalism, or education.
• Deep understanding of Malay grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.
• Comfort with Malaysia vs Indonesia and diaspora audience variations.

Responsabilidades

• Develop AI training content: prompts and gold-standard Malay answers across domains.
• Evaluate AI outputs for fluency, tone, accuracy, and cultural match.
• Detect unsafe or misleading content, bias, and policy-risk language.
• Provide high-quality rewrites and model answers.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses for quality and consistency.
