Job summary

Pentas Flora Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Electrical & Instrument) to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment in our chemical/manufacturing plant.

The role requires reading electrical drawings, basic knowledge of motors, sensors, and control panels, and willingness to work on a 6-day shift basis in a plant environment. 1–3 years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate / SKM / Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation.
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience in a chemical, manufacturing plant, oil and gas or other process industry.
• Basic knowledge of motors, control panels, sensors, instruments, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Able to read simple electrical drawings.
• Willing to work in a plant environment and attend breakdown calls when required.
• Comfortable to work 6 days in a week and shift basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, motors, sensors, pumps, control panels, and field instruments
• Assist in repairing and replacing damaged electrical and instrumentation components
• Ensure plant equipment is operating safely and report abnormalities to supervisors
• Support plant shutdown, maintenance, and emergency breakdown activities
• Maintain basic maintenance records and housekeeping at work areas
