Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an electrician/maintenance technician to perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will monitor faults in production lines and building systems, ensuring compliance with Malaysian regulations and safe PPE practices.

The role involves maintaining preventive maintenance records, responding to emergencies promptly, and supporting equipment upgrades and new installations to improve energy efficiency

Qualifications

• Maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot electrical faults in production lines, machinery, and buildings.
• Ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., Suruhanjaya Tenaga) in Malaysia.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and records.
• Respond to electrical emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Ensure PPE safety practices during electrical work.
• Participate in energy efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.
• Provide support for equipment upgrades and new installations.
